Accessibility statement
October 20, 2026
My-SafeRide wants every family to be able to use its website and app, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, zoom or other assistive technologies.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, on my-saferide.com and in the My-SafeRide app.
What we have done
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 on our backgrounds.
- Zoom allowed on every page, on phones as well.
- Labels on form fields, and error messages announced to screen readers.
- A "skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
- Text descriptions for informative images.
- The app and the website are available in English and Spanish.
Known limitations
- The live ride map is visual. The same information (stops before yours, estimated arrival time, ride status) is also given as text and by notification.
- Our legal documents are available in English only.
