These terms govern your use of SafeRide. By booking a ride you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
The service
SafeRide provides scheduled school transportation operated by a single licensed driver-owner in Concord, Walnut Creek and Antioch, California.
Eligibility & accounts
Accounts are for parents/guardians 18+. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including authorized pickups and emergency contacts.
Bookings & payments
Rides are booked in advance through the app. Weekly plans and single rides are billed via Stripe. Surcharges may apply for last-minute bookings, waiting time, longer distances and car seats, as shown at booking.
Safety & pickup rules
A child is released only to a verified authorized person who presents the one-time code valid for that day. Last-minute changes require in-app approval and manual verification. We may contact emergency services when a child's safety requires it.
Cancellations
Cancellation and rescheduling windows are shown in the app. Late cancellations may be charged.
Liability
SafeRide carries commercial and liability insurance. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as described in the full agreement accepted before your first ride.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
